A gazetteer is a geographic information tool that allows users to search for and retrieve detailed data about places around the world. It combines location-based inputs with various APIs to display contextual information such as weather, news, population statistics, and Wikipedia entries for a selected location. Building a gazetteer requires integrating multiple systems to deliver a seamless and interactive user experience. The project involved front-end development for user interface design and interactivity, as well as back-end logic for managing API requests, data parsing, and dynamic content rendering. This project was developed using a full range of web technologies:

Company Directory
Company Directory: A web-based tool that organizes and displays employee information, such as names, roles, departments, and locations to help teams easily find and manage internal contacts.
- Designed and developed a custom company directory web application that allows administrators to manage departments, locations, and personnel in real time.
- Built the platform using PHP, MySQL, HTML5, and JavaScript, ensuring a fast, secure, and responsive experience across devices.
- Implemented full CRUD functionality (Create, Read, Update, Delete) for staff entries, department listings, and location data, including form validation and dynamic page updates.
- Created a clean and intuitive admin interface using Bootstrap, making it easy for non-technical users to navigate and update records without training.
- Optimized the database structure for scalability, using relational models and indexing to improve search speed and data integrity as the number of entries grows.
- Integrated real-time feedback (e.g. success messages, validation alerts) to improve user experience and error handling during data entry or edits.
- Focused on code maintainability and modularity by organizing backend logic into reusable PHP components and keeping front-end scripts lightweight and modular.
- Deployed the system to a live server environment using cPanel, set up domain routing, and configured access permissions to ensure secure access to admin-only tools.
